The JHL & JHM series of encapsulated, isolated and regulated DC-DC converters for medical applications. Available with single and dual outputs, the 3 Watt JHL03, the 6 Watt JHL06 and the 15 Watt JHM15, are all packaged in industry-standard format cases. Their size is model dependant, ranging from an industry standard DIP-24 for the JHL03 and JHL06 through to 40.6 x 25.4 x 10.2 mm for the JHM15 series.

XP launches 6 Watt DC/DC converter in ultra compact SIP-8 package

XP Power today announced the ITX series of 6 Watt DC/DC converters encapsulated in an industry standard SIP 8-pin package measuring just 21.85 x 11.1 x 9.2 mm (0.86 x 0.44 x 0.36 inches).

Believed to be one of the highest power ratings available in a SIP format and delivering a power density of up to 46 Watts per cubic inch, the ITX series occupies much less board space than competing devices. The converter also is highly efficient, typically 86%, and meets the design requirements for modern energy efficient and space constrained applications. No forced air flow or additional heatsinking is required.
